New York just had it’s fourth nor’easter in as many weeks and work has had me in a windowless basement room by myself. Not necessarily ideal but I’ve never been one for idle hands so I’ve been making the best of it.
The soundtrack to my exile has been the wonderfully bright ‘In La La Land’ by the LA band The Memories. It’s a little irreverent, a little jammy, and very catchy. Before that movie ‘La La Land’ came out I had no idea that people called Los Angeles ‘La La Land’ and I hope people stop calling it that ASAP. The track “North Figueroa Street” is a personal favorite that I’ve listened to too many times to count.
IF EVERYONE IN LA FEELS LIKE THIS ALBUM MOST OF THE TIME MAYBE ILL MOVE THERE.
